Relaxing in nature ☺ Relaxing in nature, the night sky, the fire place outside, the little barrel of fresh herbs, the green lawn to lie on to view the stars at night, walking around the orchards, walking the hiking trails. ☹ We liked everything but the kitchen needs oven gloves.

Beautifully serene. ☹ The pictures on booking.com were of all the places so you don’t know which one you were booking.

Awesome ☺ Beautiful and private. ☹ There is almost no cellphone signal, so wifi would help a great deal.

Loved my stay. Wish I had more time there to explore the hiking and cycling routes. The cottage was wonderful and had ba ☺ The location. loved the setting and the views and the rock bathtub ☹ It would have been nice if they asked in advance if you wanted to buy wood at R35 per bag and I could have done an eft for it. I arrived after the office already closed so couldn’t buy wood.

Perfect farm escape for the family to reset & recharge. ☺ Great old school farm interiors. Super hot tub while the pool area was great for kids. Nice indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Comfortable beds. Picking apples and pears straight from the trees were a lovely experience for the kids. The dam was a stand out feature for us and the kids; offering SUP, kayaking and tubes for hours of water sports and relaxing. We highly recommend sundowners or a dip at sunset. ☹ Such a great stay, if we had to be overly picky, the soft sandy roads don’t allow for kids to ride bikes around the farm, but there are good local mountain bike trails a short drive away!
